Iced black tea with tapioca bubbles (or pearls) and Flan is one of my favorite bubble teas. The first time I had it in San Francisco, it was tasty and not too complicated to make. You can find my recipe here. I hope you find it enjoyable.
You can blend the tea with milk, coconut, or almond milk for a creamier texture. To make it even more interesting, you can use flavored tapioca pearls, like matcha or strawberry.
Ingredient:
1 12oz drinking glass or mug
2 TBSP tapioca bubbles (cooked).
1 cup of Flan
2 Black tea bags
Some ice cube
Some honey or sugar (add to taste)
How to make:
- In the glass measuring cup, pour 4 ounces of boiling water over the tea bags and let them infuse for 10 minutes.
- Add sugar or honey to the glass measuring cup with the tea bags and taste to see if it reaches your preference.
- Pour the black tea from the glass measuring cup into the 12oz drinking glass or mug.
- Put ice and cold water in a 12-ounce drinking glass. Make sure there’s room for flan and tapioca bubbles.
- Add one cup of flan and cooked tapioca bubbles.
You can drink it with a spoon or a straw.
Have a great time drinking your BF iced black tea.
